JULY HEALING SERVICE

The July healing service proved a wonderful gathering of persons of faith calling upon the Holy Spirit to help in the process of healing body and mind. The dessert bar hosted by Terry Raymond was a delight to eye and palate. Thank you!

Our generous service contributed over $500 for Children’s Hospital Oakland. I think it is a fascinating fact that Children’s Hospital was begun in 1912 by 2 nurses as the “Baby Hospital.” Its first home was the stable of the old McElrath mansion. I think we all would agree that another babe born in a stable would be touched by our efforts.

The response for this service was so positive that the health ministry will be planning a another service in the autumn. Stay tuned. Anyone wishing to help please let me know.
