SonShine Singers
SonShine Singers is the children choir of Faith Lutheran Church. This ensemble sings standard children choir repertoire as well as contemporary children's music, and occasionally features liturgical dance, instrumentation (such as recorders and marimbas), and intentionally includes music theory training. Rehearsals are Wednesdays during the academic year and sings on average once month and at two annual music department concerts. The ensemble is open to children entering grades 1-5.
Youth Choir
Youth Choir is open to youth entering grades 6-12. Repertoire includes varied music, including contemporary choral repertoire, musical theatre and show tunes, global music, and more. The Youth Choir performs an average of once a month during the academic year and at two annual music department concerts.
Quire Choir
This is Faith Lutheran Church's adult choral ensemble. Quire Choir is an all are welcome choir that sings an average of twice a month during the academic year and at the two annual music department concerts. The repertoire is primarily accompanied and unaccompanied SATB repertoire of a blended style, including praise & worship songs, gospel songs, global music, standard church choral repertoire, and show tunes. Rehearsals are Wednesdays during the academic year. What is a "quire" you ask? "Quire Choir" is more than a play on words. The "quire" is the area from where the choir sings.
Cantus
Love to sing? Cantus is an auditioned only, advanced mixed-voice ensemble that sings a diverse repertoire of choral literature from sixteenth-century motets to works of the present day. The group serves an important ministry to the community and everyone is welcome to audition. Singers should have choral experience, read music, and be able to commit to regular rehearsals and personal practice. The ensemble is open to youth aged 15 & above and adults. Membership in the congregation is not required.

Praise Band (New for Fall 2019)
This ensemble is the praise music ensemble of Faith Lutheran Church that performs on average of once a month, with weekly rehearsals, at the 8:45am worship service. This ensemble, newly formed and imagined, performs everything from contemporary praise & worship music to global music representing the ELCA Lutheran Church around the world. Vocalists and players of guitar, percussion, flute, clarinet, saxophone, violin, etc. are welcome to join. Musicians should have experience in voice and/or their chosen instrument and be able to commit to rehearsal attendance and personal practice outside of rehearsal attendance.
Handbell Choir
Ring them bells? All you aged 15 & above and adults are welcome to come ring our four octaves of Malmark handbells. The ensemble rehearses Wednesdays and performs and average of twice a month and at the two annual music department concerts during the academic year.
Visiting Choirs
We welcome visiting choirs from around the world to sing in our beautiful worship space. The selections must be unaccompanied. Visiting choirs may also submit a recent recording to be considered for a pre-service program before the 10:45am worship service on Sunday mornings or to sing at worship during the context of worship.
